Phone calling and internet is down on multiple one nz mobiles.

All phones are down. Cannot make or receive calls, cell network is also not working.

One NZ Internet

To do: Check the Internet light on your One NZ modem: solid green, the internet connection is working.
To do: Internet light flashing or off? Check the modem's power and that all its cables are plugged in properly.
To do: Power off the ONT and modem at the wall for a minute or two. Restart the ONT first, then the modem.
To do: Try another device, then a computer plugged in with an Ethernet cable: if that works, it's the Wi-Fi.
To do: Still down? Check the One NZ Network Status page for outages in your area.

To do: Turn on Flight Mode for 30 seconds, then turn it off.
To do: Turn your phone off for 30 seconds, then back on so it reconnects to the One NZ network.
To do: Remove your SIM card, clean it and reinsert it. Then try it in another mobile phone.
To do: Check in the My One NZ App that your service is active and your data isn't used up.
To do: Check the One NZ Network Status page to confirm whether there's a mobile outage in your area.

One NZ is the former Vodafone NZ, bought from Vodafone Group in 2019 by a consortium including Infratil, now its 99.8% owner. It runs its own 4G and 5G mobile network and sells fibre over wholesale networks. Its 2G and 3G networks were fully retired in March 2026.
