Power cut in my area or just my house?

Is it the network or just your home?

To do: Check the fuse box for switches set to off and whether your meter shows power coming in.
To do: Reset the fuse box: main switches off, then the small ones, then turn the main switches on first.
To do: Ask your neighbours: if they have no power either, the fault is likely on the network.
To do: Call 105 for free or use your network operator's website to report the cut and track updates.
Avoid: Don't go near a fallen power line: assume it is live and report it straight away.

Who regulates electricity in the United Kingdom?
