EE, originally launched in 2010 as Everything Everywhere, was a joint venture between two European telecom giants, Deutsche Telekom and Orange S.A.
In 2013, EE made history by launching the first 4G network in the UK, establishing itself as an innovator in the UK telecom sector. In 2016, BT Group, a leading UK telecommunications and broadband provider, acquired EE.
This acquisition marked a significant step in merging fixed-line and mobile services into a more comprehensive offering, positioning BT to compete more effectively with other full-service telecom providers.
