To do: Look at the PON or Optical light on your ONT: solid green, the fibre signal reaches your home.
To do: LOS or Alarm light red or flashing? Check the power and network cables of the ONT and router.
To do: Unplug the ONT and router for 30 seconds. Plug in the ONT, then the router once its lights are stable.
To do: Test another device, then a computer plugged in with an Ethernet cable: if that works, it's the Wi-Fi.
To do: Still down? Check the Mweb Network Status page for a known outage in your area.

MWEB has sold internet access since 1997. It builds no network of its own: fibre operators such as Vumatel and Openserve lay and install the line, and MWEB runs the connection. In October 2023 the Competition Commission approved Webafrica's proposed purchase of MWEB, with conditions.
