To do: Check the light on your Panoramic Wifi Gateway: solid white means the connection reaches your home.
To do: Solid red light or no light? Check the power outlet, then verify the coax cable and power cord connections.
To do: Unplug the power cord from the back of the gateway, not at the wall, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
To do: Test another device, then a computer connected by Ethernet cable: if that works, it's the WiFi.
To do: Still down? Check for outage alerts in the Cox App or My Account, then run SmartHelp.

Cox Mobile

To do: Turn Airplane Mode on for 30 seconds, then turn it off.
To do: Restart your phone and check that Cox Mobile is displayed in the top corner of the screen.
To do: Power down your phone, pull out the SIM tray, reinsert the SIM with the gold contacts down, then power it on.
To do: In the Cox App, open the Cox Mobile section and tap your number to check your plan and data usage.
To do: Check for outage alerts in the Cox App or My Account to see if your area is affected.

Cox now sells under the Spectrum brand. Charter completed its purchase of Cox Communications on August 19, 2026, and Spectrum products and pricing arrived in Cox markets on September 16, 2026. Within a year, Charter's parent company is to take the name Cox Communications.
